A recent graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, Pauline Edie intends to improve the understanding of craft in Scotland through her collection in the Meet Your Maker exhibition.
Pauline is inspired by Fairy Tales and childhood stories: from Goldilocks and the Three Bears to Cinderella, these tales incite her work. Working mainly in porcelain and silver, she aims to display ‘the curious communicative nature of handmade forms’.
Pauline's collection exhibited the various stages involved in creating her work, with sketchbooks charting her design process also on display. She demonstrated drawing and working with porcelain in the gallery.
