Stacey Bentley
Stacey Bentley aims to challenge preconceptions of enamel by questioning technique, process and aesthetic.
She explores new possibilities that industrial liquid enamel can bring to contemporary jewellery through material experimentation. Recently, she has experimented with smooth silver wire structures to generate strength and stability. Intertwined within these frameworks are thin enamelled binding wire elements that create a sense of fragility.
This combination of materials allows her to create unpredictable and spontaneous ideas for jewellery with a unique painterly quality.
