Meet Your Maker
Meet Your Maker takes you behind the scenes of the creative making process, bringing craft to the public in a whole new way. Makers work in the gallery space as well as having items such as sketchbooks, tools, studio pin-boards and video on display for members of the public to explore alongside their finished craft. From 21st May to 28th June 2010, we took Meet Your Maker to Timespan in Helmsdale. Timespan showed five contemporary craft makers working across the disciplines of textiles, ceramics, jewellery, weaving and bookbinding.
