My jewellery is inspired by a fascination with optical illusion and how the eye can be deceived. I achieve this by creating pieces which explore the bold, bright colours and shapes of the Op Art movement and how this translated into fashion at the time.
Working with a combination of different plastics and precious metal, I use smooth contours in black and white, oxidised silver with a splash of bold colour. Manipulating mirrors and lenses I make individual pieces that have a modern yet playful feel.
