About Kathryn Abrahams - Lazy Daisy Glass

Personal Statement

Lazy Daisy Glass is run by Kathryn Abrahams from her studio in rural Banffshire. Inspired by all things glass‚ and especially fascinated by the diversity and flexibility of warm glass‚ she designs and creates fused glass art‚ including wall panels‚ coasters‚ clocks, window hangers, bowls and sculptural pieces.

Lazy Daisy Glass was founded in 2007, following a career as a PA to Directors in corporate companies. Kathryn decided to leave her 'office job' to become a full time mother, but also wanting some independence, she bought her first kiln in 2006. After spending some time experimenting, she started to attend local events and took part in her first trade show in 2008.
Business has steadily grown and Kathryn invested in her second and larger kiln in 2009. She now sells her glass gifts to over 60 stockists throughout England and Scotland.
Commissions and trade enquiries welcome.
