My work ranges from glass jewellery, to stained glass windows, including painted panels and fire screens. I also make a range of tableware products including inter alia bowls, plates, candle holders and coasters.
My religious pieces sell faster than I can make them. They cover a range with influences from Judaism (Judaica), Christianity and traditional Islamic art, to Pagan, and humanist philosophies. Often I will make an item on request, after a person has seen something pertaining to but different from their own.
I also use a lot of recycled glass in keeping with the ideas surrounding preservation of the planet and beauty without waste.
Techniques included are, stained glass with lead and copper foil, fused glass, slumped items as well as small scale casting. Pate de Verre and Glass set in concrete. I also use a relatively new concept in glass called freeze fusing.
