Over the years the Forrest husband and wife team has enjoyed a variety of crafting activities from dolls' house making, designing and making garden furniture, card making, handmade journals, designing and producing wooden clocks, occasional tables, desks, leather targes, baby cradles etc. When people began to admire and ask for items, the idea of Forrest Wooden Crafts began.
Although we produce many different wooden items, our speciality now is the designing and hand crafting of wooden jewellery, trinket, memory boxes which are made from reclaimed timber. Many are then decorated with veneer inlays. Each box is individually crafted and very few designs are exactly repeated.
To date boxes have been made from oak, mahogany, beech in fact any reclaimed timber which becomes available to us.
