About Me

Personal Statement

After graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone in 2010 with BDes (Hons) 1st in Jewellery & Metal design, Nicola set up Nicola Reed Jewellery, which is now based in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.

Nicola's ongoing collection Turoe, takes inspiration from the Isle of Rum, particularly the red deer which inhabit the island. Textures from shed antlers are transformed into sterling silver pieces which often include gemstones which have previously been found in Scotland, including garnet and citrine.

Nicola now works on a gallery collection and commission basis as well as selling work online through her website.
