Personal Statement

Craigleith Art & Design (wood carvings) are based from a small workshop in the North/West area of Edinburgh. We are a small family run business with myself (Alastair Gaff) the main producer of the carvings.

Craigleith Art & Design (wood carvings) specialise in producing hardwood plaques depicting legends from the world of Music, Sport, Films, Television, the rich & famous or anybody/anything you want.

The carvings are produced from a combination of hand skills and various power tools. Each carving is individually & lovingly crafted and no mass production is used.

Craigleith Art & Design (wood carvings) are 100% committed in using good quality reclaimed timbers as first option for material .We are constantly sourcing good quality reclaimed timbers.

The carvings come in a standard A4 (approx) size but any dimension will be considered and quoted on request.

Carvings can also be produced on good quality softwoods as well as hardwoods.
