About Me

Personal Statement

The simple form of the circle is always the starting point when I design each piece of jewellery. I am very much interested in chain mail technique. By adapting these ancient patterns and often changing the scale and adding texture I am provided with endless inspiration.
I prefer to concentrate on a palette of black and white (silver and oxidised silver).
Comfort and ease of wear is of utmost importance in the design. My aim is to create contemporary striking jewellery which can be worn every day. Therefore the jewellery has to be durable and as the pieces are all based on chain mail unit construction they are very strong.
Each piece is tactile, light, full of volume and movement.
