About Me

Personal Statement

Based on the remote archipelago of Orkney, Hilary Grant designs knitwear and home accessories, which are sold in department stores and independent design stores in the UK, Japan, Hong Kong, US and Europe.

They work with a family-run, knitwear manufacturer in the Scottish Borders to produce all of their collections from high-grade lambswool yarns, spun and dyed in the UK.

In 2016 Hilary Grant was commissioned to produce a contemporary travel accessory for 'Local Heroes' - a showcase of 'Scotland's leading designers' throughout the Edinburgh International Festival.

Hilary Grant is a member of the Campaign for Wool and has been featured in their annual Wool Week exhibitions in Tokyo and Japan.

Their knitwear and blankets have been featured in Monocle, Vogue, Collezioni Accessori, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Selvedge Magazine and Oh Comely.
