I design and make a range of one-off textile based products, including clothing, accessories, jewellry, millinary, wall-hangings and soft furnishings,
Batik is my specialism, however, in recent years I have developed my craft skills to enable me to produce more 3-dimensional pieces which are both beautiful and functional. Drawing, sewing, quilting, embroidery, beading, loom-knitting are the underpinning skills necessary to create my work and I use a variety of materials fabrics, fibres, beads, shells and broken pottery, frequently in combination to produce unique end results.
I primarily sell my work via the internet, commisions and craft fairs and I also facilitate workshops and one to one tuition in batik, sewing and other textile crafts.
