Contemporary Glass and Glass Jewellery. Functional and sculptural forms and vessels. Importance of colour, layering, pattern and texture. Use of hot and cold techniques to create individual pieces with a graphic bent/twist. Bold colour and subtle tones are used to create pattern while cold working creates pattern and surface texture.
Glass sculpural forms are original, handmade and aesthetic. Individuality is paramount to the design prosess.
Colour available include: green, blue, red, orange, white, black, turquoise and purple. Others available.
Hand-made glass jewellery with Sterling Silver findings are also available in ring; necklace; choker and brooches. Other forms of jewellery are available on commission bases.
Glassware and jewellery are on sale at Beauly Gallery, Inverness-shire.
