About Crail Potteries

Personal Statement

The family run businessess of Crail Pottery, Crail Ceramics and Crail Earthenware are set around a beautiful courtyard in the heart of historic Crail. We produce a diverse range of stoneware and brightly coloured earthenware; from mugs and salad sets to cooking pots and planters. Every piece is hand thrown, decorated, glazed and fired here in our workshops.

Stephen and Carol Grieve founded the pottery in 1965 and still work here alongside their daughter Sarah who runs Crail Ceramics and son Ben who runs Crail Earthenware. The businessess share the showroom.

The workshops are open to visitors as well.

Year Established: 1965
