About Karen-Ann Dicken
Personal Statement
I make all sorts of jewellery but i specialize in modern technologies such as laser welding, rapid prototyping and laser cutting.
I have a 1st class BA hons degree from the Glasgow School of Art as where i was also Artist in residence for a year as well as teaching. I also have an MA from the Royal College of Art London.
My jewellery is inspired by architecture and the strengths gained from triangulation. Other inspirations are Buckminster Fuller and triangulated forms in nature.
