About Emma McDermott
Personal Statement
Emma McDermott’s work is inspired by birds and their habitats. The damage caused by the jewellery industry to their environments, encouraged her to use all recycled or natural materials in her work.
This includes the paper which her illustrations are printed on and some of her jewellery. Her work is resolvable to a safe environment and a place where life in itself can thrive.
