Alison hand crafts beautiful, rustic jewellery inspired by the natural environment and the rich heritage of the Orkney islands. Her use of both silver and copper also shows strong influences from the Arts and Crafts movement.
Each piece of jewellery is designed either to be worn every day or used to dress up an outfit. The items are individually formed by hand using sterling silver and copper sheet on which textures are applied using a rolling mill, patterns cut out with a fret saw and components joined by soldering. Alison can customise pieces to suit your specific requirements and welcomes commissions.
