After graduating in Glass from Edinburgh College of Art Anita worked and lectured in various countries before establishing her current studio "Anita Pate Glass". She uses sandblasting, fusing, enamelling and stained glass techniques to produce a variety of commissions both large and small of traditional and contemporary design.
Recent projects include: Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham, Dunbar Upper School, and The Bishop's House, Iona.
Anita enjoys the commissioning process, finding a joint, creative solution to client's ideas. The influences on her personal exhibition work vary from the human body and natural world to journeys and journeying.
