Angela-Cecilia Smith, the creator of the Laroch Wear label, lives and works in Scotland, but studied millinery at Huddersfield College, Yorkshire. Once qualified, she entered the Hennessey Gold Cup Millinery Competition and was a finalist there two years in succession. Publicity from this led to orders for ladies hats for private carriage driving and the label has now extended to other items primarily for wear at sporting and outdoor events.
Angela-Cecilia produces bespoke hats, capes and bags using the best Scottish products to give a classic look to her clients' outfit.
Angela-Cecilia is one of only a handful of skilled milliners in the UK currently crafting ladies hats for private carriage driving, all hand-made to order and based on traditional lines.
Her other products use only the highest quality Harris Tweed and Woollen Tartans to create a stunning range of superb items to grace any lady attending countryside events and outdoor occasions.
