After 23 years as Head Lampworker at the world famous Perthshire Paperweights in Crieff, I opened my own glass workshop in Perth, Scotland, in March 2002.
I create highly detailed glass wildlife pieces using coloured glass rods, fused together using a propane/oxygen lampwork burner. No painting involved! Every detail, each dot or line, is a separate piece of glass fused on in the flame, working while the glass is hot. The pieces are then mounted on carefully selected agate slices to create totally unique works of art.
My range is growing and changing constantly, from traditional favourites e.g. frogs, dolphins and owls, to exotic and unusual birds and animals, e.g. macaws, toucans and honey badgers. I also specialise in Scottish wildlife such as salmon, trout and golden eagles.
I exhibit throughout Scotland with 3D/2D Craft & Design Fairs, and at other events, for further details please contact me.
