I make timber structures using traditional and contemporary techniques. My designs are unique and tailored to suit individual commissions. Much of what I make is of a large scale and constructed using green oak. Completed work includes tree-benches, lych gates, sculptural objects, play areas, stage sets and bridges.
I graduated in Sculpture from Glasgow and Belfast Schools of Art and have worked professionally as blacksmith, archaeological illustrator, theatre designer and performer. I show work at national and international level.
I collaborate with other artists and makers to create large-scale pieces for outdoor events, such as the Edinburgh Hogmanay celebrations and the international Expo.
I am currently based in South West Scotland.
