About David Alexander

Personal Statement

I make a range of slip decorated, ovenproof dishes and bowls which are practical and a pleasure to use. My more individual pieces reflect my love of the rocks and patterns of growth in the hills and shores of Galloway and are more sculptural in character.

I work in terracotta earthenware using a variety of hand building techniques.

I am a member of Scottish Potters and Spring Fling, the premier open studios event.
