Personal Statement

"I am an artist producing paintings, prints, sculpture, photographs, and textiles which form the basis of exhibitions and installations. Sculptures (wood-carvings and those made from natural materials such as willow) of figures and structures in environments also become the subject matter of paintings and prints including drypoints, etchings and Giclee prints. I am currently producing work leading to an exhibition/installation combining my own artifacts with those produced globally including Africa, where I have connections with an arts project. Commissions and residencies are also undertaken, and I have a special interest in producing historical illustrations. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art from Lanchester (Coventry) Polytechnic."
