'Awa wi the fairies' is my current label and is a reference to the inspiration I have taken from the Trossachs countryside and the magical myths of the fairyfolk in the area. This is translated in to contemporary knitted accessories which are created in Geelong lambswool and cashmere sourced from Scotland. The knitting is then dyed and machine boiled to create sculpted forms for fashion and interiors some become scarfs, bags, hats or cushions and throws.
I am primarily a swatch designer and sell hand and machine knitted swatches internationally through an agent in London.
I accept commissions for the smallest bag made in the yarn and colours of your choice right up to a large throw designed for a particular room or architectural structure.
