About Fiona Luing

Personal Statement

Fiona Luing Jewellery was established in 2006, and since then Fiona has created an evolving range of handmade jewellery.

As part of the Crafters co-operative, Fiona shares a shop with twelve other artist/makers in Melrose, Roxburghshire. The shop carries a wide range of Fiona's and the other members work, as well as exhibiting the work of four guest makers each month. The Crafters additionally organizes an annual two day craft fair in November in Kelso in the Borders.

Fiona Luing Jewellery's latest range is made up of textured sterling silver pendants and stud earrings. The silver sheet is either hammered or roll printed with leaf or lace textures before being formed into the jewellery itself.

Fiona continues to learn and practice new jewellery making techniques with a view to improving and developing her range each season.

Year Established: March 06

Achievements

Fiona's work has recently been selected to be exhibited in the ground floor design shop at the Barbican Theatre in London.
