Personal Statement

From my studio in Edinburgh I design and produce a range of fashion accessories which are hand dyed then silk screen printed using the 'discharge' method of printing. I specialise in using wool mixes, cashmere, lambswool and silk.

My current collection of prints are inspired by imagery from the 1950's and 1960's. The use of colour is very important to me and 'discharge' printing lends itself to this whilst retaining the original soft handle of the fabrics
