We are currently discussing what craftscotland would like to achieve in the next three years and we want to know what you want us to do.
 
The aims of craftscotland are to:
 
•      Showcase the best of Scottish contemporary craft creating a space to inspire, enjoy and inform about craft
•      Act as a matchmaker for people who love craft
•      Enable Scottish makers to be part of a global community where they can develop their work and skills and reach their potential
•      Offer free basic participation in the website and related marketing resources   

We have lots of ideas about ways we can do this and we would like to know which ones you think are the most important and give you an opportunity to add your own suggestions.  Our ideas include:

•           Exhibit to international audiences
•           Launch a craft ‘Turner Prize’ award
•           Show Scottish craft in a virtual world, ie, Second Life
•           Develop new models for selling craft
