Arts and Designs is a recently established on-line gallery promoting Scottish fine art and craft. Works can be viewed and securely purchased via the internet. Our aim is to provide on-line art and craft lovers with a friendly, interesting and rewarding experience. The gallery is divided into two main areas: fine art and craft, each with its own group of artists and craftspeople. The content of the galleries is enhanced frequently and it's worth visiting often or registering for the news feed to receive information on new additions, events, and so on. The fine art gallery currently features contemporary works by Kevan McGinty and Julie Peden. The focus is on Real Art: oil landscapes, figurative watercolours, pastels, and mixed media. Scottish landscapes are particularly strongly represented. Themed exhibitions are mounted from time to time where a range of talented artists display their latest works. The craft design gallery currently features the work of Anne Peden, a designer with over 40 years' experience. Cross stitch charts, blackwork designs, and embroidery patterns are available together with counted cross stitch kits. Anne is constantly adding new designs to her portfolio. Seasonal, Scottish traditional, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Celtic, and many other styles are featured.
