We are situated on Edinburgh's southside, and have supplied the local community directly since 1988. Now with an online shop for UK customers,we handthrow a wonderful range of modest, warm stoneware for the home in friendly greens, blues, browns and an absorbing zinc 'crystal' glaze, alongside some carved sgraffito pieces and a small amount of porcelain. We enjoy making individual items to order, helping customers bring their ideas into our production process to end up with something they will love.
We believe functional pots should be warm, simple and easy to use, as well as bringing some beauty and kindness to the eye. Ideally a good pot should give something special to the user whether they are absorbed in examining the fascinating glaze or just comforted by the curved form in their hands as they sip a warm drink.
