The workshop programme includes classes for traditional folk art, the DecoArt "Art of Brushstrokes" certified course for beginners and One Stroke painting - a style of painting made popular by Donna Dewberry. Gill is a One Stroke Certified Instructor and a Helping Artist with DecoArt.

Gill also designs and sells pattern packs through her website. Her workshops have been featured on TV, radio & in newspapers & magazines. In July 05 she is appearing as a guest on The Beechgrove Garden where some of her handpainted garden items will be seen.

Decorative painting is sometimes described as a skill rather than an inborn talent and almost anyone can learn the techniques with application and practice.
