The Crafters is a retail co-operative, set up in 1999. We are a group of like-minded independent craft workers, who wanted to have a retail space in the high street that we could run ourselves.

The Crafters offers a wide range of gifts for all occasions. From pottery, made to measure knitwear, turned wood, candles, children’s clothes, jewellery, wedding favours and accessories, silk and velvet scarves, dough craft, mosaics, bags, hats, table mats, animal pictures, to prints and cards. In addition, we also have guest exhibitors throughout the year, bringing further variety, while at the same time giving an opportunity to other local craftspeople.
