CARVE your own bespoke ring in jeweller's wax. Get creative, and make a piece of jewellery unique to you.

After the workshop, your piece will be cast in silver and professionally finished, and you'll have it back in your hands in two to three weeks.

Add to your own collection or create a unique gift for someone else. Included in the class will be the wax, use of professional jeweller's tools, expert tuition and your finished silver cast. Refreshments provided.

Founder of Vanilla Ink Studios, Kate Pickering and Glasgow-based jeweller Katie Lees bring you CARVE: fun and relaxed pop-up jewellery workshops in exciting venues across Scotland.

Kate and Katie's CARVE workshops draw out your inner creativity and combine it with their jewellery know-how. During theirCARVE classes, you'll use jeweller's wax and a selection of professional tools to carve and create a bespoke, one-off ring, completely unique to you. The workshop lasts two hours and within that time you will be guided with expert tuition to help you achieve your ideas.

Once you have CARVEd your design, Kate and Katie take the wax rings and send them to a company in Birmingham who cast the wax into solid silver (using the process of lost wax casting). The silver rings are sent back to CARVE to be hand finished in their Glasgow-based workshop and posted out to their rightful owner. Within 2-3 weeks you will have your bespoke ring to don upon your finger and impress the rest!
