The first solo presentation from Edinburgh-based visual artist Harry Morgan.
The Scottish Gallery is thrilled to present the first solo show of visual artist Harry Morgan.
Harry currently works from his studio within Custom House Leith, Edinburgh. Originally from Manchester, Harry gained a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Glass from Edinburgh College of Art in 2014. Since graduating, he has exhibited at the 2015 British Glass Biennale in Stourbridge, where he was awarded the London Glassblowing Award for Emerging Talent. His work has already been exhibited widely throughout both the UK and internationally, and The Scottish Gallery is his first solo presentation.
Echo demonstrates Harry’s unique process of combing materials as well as his passion for using traditional skills in alternative ways – marrying hand-pulled glass threads with cast concrete or precious metals to create sculptural objects that explore the relationship of materials through contrast.
Opening times: Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm, closed on Sundays.
The exhibition will be on display from Wednesday 5 to Saturday 29 April 2017.
