Experimenting With: Vintage Surfaces
One-day Workshop

Saturday 21st April 2012
Thursday 7th June 2012
10.00AM - 4.00PM

£39.00 per person plus £10.00 for materials.

You will spend the day experimenting with and exploring a range of techniques to produce aged and vintage style surfaces. Using various fabrics - calico, muslin, scrim, paper and vintage trimmings and different techniques such as tea & coffee staining, using walnut ink, rusting powder and patinas you will create a good range of sample pieces.

These samples will be collated at the end of the day so that you will leave with great reference material for you to use in your own textile projects.

This workshop is aimed at people with an interest in textiles who wish to learn new techniques to use in their own textile projects.
