At the end of last year Aberdeen Art Gallery asked the public to take part in a survey to find out what people wanted to see from the diverse range of objects within the Decorative Art collection.

The most popular subjects were Jewellery and Modern Glass, closely followed by Woodturning, Clocks and Costume Accessories.

In response to the survey this exhibition features a selection of objects from the different themes and includes a single 18th century shoe and a gem-set penguin brooch (pictured).
