Jane Briggs & Christy Cole are a Glasgow-based, product design/art partnership specialising in limited edition furniture.
Their furniture weaves a complex narrative informed by historical production methods and found imagery. In Artisan’s Heirlooms, Briggs & Cole will investigate the emotions, ideas and poetry in everyday objects. Looking at the material value of the things we own, Briggs & Cole will present a series of collage works that offer alternative readings of an object’s story or cultural identity.
