In 2013 Fiona curated the cross-media exhibition, 'Changing Ground land and art', featuring Fiona Byrne-Sutton, ceramic artist; Caroline Dear, environmental artist; Miranda Forrest, ceramic artist; Morven Gregor photographer and land artist; Kerstin Gren ceramicist; Gerry Loose, poet and land artist; and Kathleen Standen, ceramic artist, in association with the Barony Centre, West Kilbride, Scotland. Supported by a £10,000 Creative Scotland, Quality Production Award. Part of the Year of Natural Scotland, a publication featuring writing or poetry by each artist and a curator’s preface was published.
In 2012 Fiona was Exhibitions Co-ordinator the SPA (Scottish Potters Association). Exhibitions included 'Fire and Water' at the Watermill Gallery, Aberfeldy, Perthshire.
Fiona also organised exhibitions as Curator of Edinburgh's outdoor Cramond Sculpture Centre in 1988 -1990. Amongst other projects, She worked for the Artangel Trust at its inception and in 1985 she initiated and organised an art auction in aid of the famine in the Sahel which raised £ 33,500 for War on Want at 'Bonhams', London on May 1st.
