Gilly Langton studied Silversmithing and Jewellery at Loughborough College of Art and Design, beginning her jewellery practice in 1997. Blending her love of colour and craftsmanship of silver she creates statement jewellery from her Plockton based workshop in the Scottish Highlands.
The stunning coastline of breathtaking seascapes and nautical architecture is the inspiration behind Gilly striking sterling silver and hand-dyed elastic jewellery. Driven by her passion to create jewellery that is minimal in design, Gilly creates elegant, crisp silver pieces as well as her renowned elastic statement jewellery.
Gilly’s jewellery is stocked in galleries and museum stores including The National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh, Contemporary Applied Arts & The Design Museum, London, Perez Museum of Art, Miami & San Francisco Museum of Craft and Design and many more.
