Rebecca E Smith is the founder designer and maker of Smith & Gibb, a jewellery adventure inspired by her grandparents, Trevor Smith & Margaret Gibb. Rebecca marries family sentiment with contemporary designs from her workshop based in Glasgow.
Using the traditional technique of vitreous kiln-fire enamelling she brings her work to life with bright and bold, block colours. Inspiration is found in the form of vintage post stamps, post marks, pastel tassel lampshades too – all in connection to her grandparents.
