' Home Sweet Home '

This CCTV headed swan was made during lockdown as a response to the coronavirus pandemic. The whole piece was hand cut using a jewellers saw and a scalpel from leather scraps, 1970s vintage wallpaper, brass sheet, and plastic mother of pearl effect sheet used to make guitar details on fretboards.

A prototype for a brooch made in response to being in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic. The piece is meant to capture the feeling of claustrophobia and is handcut from 1970s wallpaper.

Urban Folklore Neckpiece

Inspired by folkloric creatures of the Austrian Alps and my time working for Swarovski this piece is made of individually cut leather shapes which are then layered together and fixed with bookbinding screws to create this modular illustrative garland storytelling neckpiece.

Alabama Flatpack modular brooch

Inspired by my time living in Alabama when I was 17 and the mechanics of working as a bike messenger in Glasgow and London this brooch is made from several layers of handcut brass sheet which are painted with Humbrol enamel paint and fixed together with a jewellery pin.
