Tantallon Arts & Crafts Studio is situated near North Berwick on the spectacular East Lothian coast, a mere 35-minute train ride from Edinburgh. Tantallon Studios was home to the acclaimed ceramic artist Dave Cohen (1936 - 2018). We are a family business and working artist studio. Dave’s daughter Esther established the Bass Rock Pottery showroom where original work made by resident potter Ronnie Fulton and visual artist Esther together with guest Scottish artists is for sale. Open year-round, visitors can meet the artists and relax in the beautiful garden boasting unrestricted views of Tantallon Castle and the Bass Rock. We also provide art classes in drawing and painting and pottery classes in throwing, hand building and tile painting for all abilities and age groups taught by professional Scottish artists.
