Emily Thatcher's jewellery is informed by microscopic images of the world around us. Fascinated by asymmetry and organic flow these forms and textures are translated into sculptural, wearable jewellery. Each piece is handcrafted and forged, creating balanced yet bold collections. Thatcher selects gemstones for their unique beauty, natural inclusions and rich colour. She creates bespoke settings that enhance the aspects of each stone and uses them in rings, earrings and neckpieces.
Emily Thatcher trained at Sir John Cass College London, graduating with a BA Hons Silversmithing and is now based in Sheffield.
