Studio open for workshops but can be contacted by email at any time.
Suitable for complete beginners and well as students looking to expand their skills, this workshop also makes an ideal introduction to some basic jewellery techniques such as sawing, filing and drilling metal.
The day will begin with an introductory lecture followed by a demonstration. Students will then have time to practice the technique in the morning. In the afternoon students will concentrate on creating a simple pendant of pair of earrings using the techniques they have learned.
All materials are provided and the tutor will be on hand to work with students one-to-one guiding them through the designing and making of their finished piece.
If you want to make a larger piece such as a ‘statement’ pendant this can often be accommodated however extra silver will be charged (at cost price). Please bring along glasses if you need them and wear appropriate clothing for a studio environment including closed-toe shoes.
