Susan Macleod's jewellery is inspired by the beauty in our natural surroundings and its constant state of change. Working with precious metals through an intuitive and playful process, each piece is unique for its wearer. Macleod is fascinated with vivid sea colours and wild botanicals and incorporates these into her designs with recent works featuring; sculptural organic forms in sterling silver and bold sea coloured opals.
Susan Macleod is based at the Summerhall Studios in Edinburgh and teaches workshops at the Dovecot Studios and Summerhall School of Jewellery.
This exhibition is on at the Open Eye Gallery until 1 April 2019.
