Every Thursday evening you'll get hands on with a new bookbinding technique using everyday materials, including card, leather and pleather reminants, fabric offcuts, decorative papers, buttons, beads and ribbons to make a collection of functional & fabulous books.

I'll bring all the materials you need each week and there'll be lots of opportunity to personalise to your books, which also make great gifts if you have any birthdays or special occasions coming up!

I will cover the following techniques in this four-week block, making books in a range of sizes (from A7-A6, portrait and landscape). Classes run from 6.30-8.45pm and a bookbinding starter kit is included for you to take away and continue your making at home:

5 September - Exposed long stitch journal

12 September - Four hole Japanese Stab books

19 September - Accordion fold sketchbook

26 September - Mini books with decorative bindings
