New for Summer 2019 this in-depth beginners level workshop is run over two days giving you time to develop all the skills needed to make your own beautiful, bespoke sea glass ring.
Bring along your own piece of sea-glass from a meaningful place, or select from our collection of beautiful specimens, and incorporate it into a unique ring in sterling silver. This workshop is an ideal introduction to ring making and will equip you with a wide array of basic jewellery skills such as sawing, shaping, filing, soldering and stone setting.
The day will begin with a demonstration of how to make a basic ring out of silver, then apply textures and finishes so each student to create an individually designed ring. Students will practice this technique before moving on to create a bezel setting for their sea glass.
All tools and materials and one-on-one tutor support are provided.
