Craft Biennale Scotland 2018: Call for Entries

Entries are invited for Craft Biennale Scotland 2018 major international open exhibition ‘Response to Place’ at Edinburgh's City Art Centre.

Closing date: 4 Dec 2017

Entries are invited for the inaugural open international exhibition Response to Place which will be the centrepiece of a new Craft Biennale Scotland at Edinburgh's City Art Centre in 2018.

This exciting new bi-annual event will launch with a major exhibition from 11 May to 8 July 2018, selected by four international curators: Grace Cochrane (Australia), Hyeyoung Cho (South Korea), Lars Sture (Norway) and Maeve Toal (Scotland).

Makers are invited to submit work that responds to a place where they live, remember or imagine, or that contributes to individual identity or nationality, and ways in which we create and express our ‘place’ in the world.
