This is an opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled technician with a minimum of 5 years prior experience in a similar role.
- Assisting with the day-to-day functioning of Dundee Ceramics Workshop (DCW). Working as part of a team with the board of directors, committee, and general members, clearly communicating any ideas, opportunities, issues, or challenges.
- Provide training for Junior/Trainee technician staff, including kiln use, health and safety procedures, glazing and other ceramics techniques, and any other training mutually agreed between technicians, board, and committee.
- Upkeep of DCW Technical Facilities to ensure the workshop and equipment are well maintained, meeting health and safety standards.
- Overseeing health and safety induction training, providing technical advice and support to enable DCW volunteers, staff, and general members to work independently.

Hours: 17 hours per week, worked flexibly
Starting Salary: £14,144 (£16 PH)
Full-time equivalent salary: £33,280 PA
