Visual Artist and Craft Makers Awards. Apply before Tuesday 4 February
Closing date: 4 Feb 2020
VACMA schemes aim to provide funding to help towards activities that are integral to local Visual Artists and Craft Makers personal and professional development.
Creative Learning Aberdeen and Creative Scotland are committed to supporting the work of our resident artists and encouraging innovative professional practice in contemporary arts and crafts.
Visual Artists and Craft Makers living and practicing in Aberdeen are invited to apply for a new round of grants of between £500 and £1,500 for the development of their practice. This year we have introduced a £500 bursary for recent graduates/emerging artists. We also offer a specific mentoring bursary of £1,500 to help artists and makers with support to reflect on and develop their practice.
The awards are allocated for individuals to undertake self-determined artistic and professional development. The aim is to support artistic experimentation and creation of new work that adds to the growing reputation of Aberdeen's artistic community and helps individuals to develop their skills and talent.
Deadline: Tuesday 4 February 2020, 5pm
Many opportunities are uploaded by craft people, places, and organisations. Craft Scotland does not organise the opportunities and is not responsible for incorrect details. Any queries should be directed to the organiser.
