About the Craft Marketplace

We put makers at the heart of all we do, championing diverse and high-quality contemporary craft.

Our Craft Marketplace gives makers a dedicated digital platform to present their craft. We have built on the success from our diverse programme of national and international events and exhibitions, so makers can continue to develop new audiences and raise the profile of craft in Scotland.

Bringing together a curated selection of the best in contemporary, design-led craft you can shop beautiful objects from makers’ studios straight to your home.

Every object tells a story

Our Craft Marketplace is for people who love to delve into the story behind a piece. For those who want to be able to say they know who made it, how and where.

Here you can discover and share in the hidden story behind the object and meet the makers.

Support Scotland's craft community

Every purchase made through the Craft Marketplace directly supports the maker in sustaining their creative practice. Plus, it supports Craft Scotland in continuing to provide invaluable services to the craft sector. Our programme champions craft's importance to Scotland's cultural, economic and social well-being.

Together through the Craft Marketplace, we can encourage a thriving maker community here in Scotland that continues to be at the forefront of innovation and change.

A curated collection of craft

Our selection of craft focuses on the object. The Craft Scotland team identify pieces that combine compelling design with high-quality craftsmanship. This is informed by Craft Scotland’s continuous engagement with makers who are at the forefront of design and innovation.

Together with the maker, each product has been selected to create a visual and cohesive collection of craft for you to explore and enjoy.
